DVHS is a community product that allows webmasters to provide individual websites (www.username.yourdomain.com) for their users in a secure, administered environment. It allows you to automatically accept user signups or approve each user from admin area.
With DVHS, your users can upload their WebPages using FTP.
DVHS comes with a strong administrative section. Accounts can be searched by a different variables, and can be deleted/modified.

DVHS is written completely in perl and runs only in Linux.
It requires a dedicated server.

We are more then happy with the purchase of DVHS and it's highly expandable software and would like to give the credit to the DVHS creator.

DVHS has allowed us to compete with the larger free hosting companies in offering features. It has also brought our company further then most free host.

We are completely satisfied with the software and thier excellent support.

Hi!

I ve checked out your script in the last half hour and I am really impressed. Only the requirements (dedicated server, root access, etc) are quite high. Unfortunately I cannot fit all requirements yet, but will do my best to come back soon :-)

Cheers,
alex

Is there a way to limit file size and type? I see major abuse issues without a way to control these.

Thanks

Hi,
you should use PathAllowFilter and PathDenyFilter in your proftpd.conf file for file type restriction.

see also QuotaType
