Hello, I just got a new dedicated server and I am shopping for forum software. I was set to go with VBulletin because it seems that it is the least processor intensive of the bunch, is mostly bug free, and uses PHP and MySQL. I have also seen ikon board and the many UBB types out there. I don't mind paying the price for VBulletin but some of their licensing words see a bit off for my taste. Are there any boards (provide links) that I should check out that are:
* stable
* good admin features
* fast
* use MySQL/PHP
* won't go under next week

Thanks

Carlos

all the scripts you can handle (http://www.hotscripts.com/PHP/Scripts_and_Programs/Discussion_Boards/)

I use phpBB. It's VERY fast and was a cinch to set up and best of all....it was free. But, thru that link, you'll find over fifty forums that offer exactly what you need. The ones that charge are also in that list and offer demos.

Do yourself a favor, and check out Encore Web Forum (http://www.aborior.com/encore/index.shtml).
