I don't have much to blow which I already did with serverrack.net and very dissapointed in speed.

I wanted to get an opinion here which of these:

Pricewatch - Server 1U Link (http://www.pricewatch.com/menus/m95.htm)

Can fit my needs for 30-50 sites / RedHat 7.2 (server installed) mode for minimal cost where I can co-locate it locally.

I have learned Cobalt RAQ 4 and started using mySQL, PHP and few others tools... installed some shopping carts and such.

If you can take a minute and check the options I'd appreciate it. The budget would be under $1000 for a "ok" 1u server.

I've got some SuperMicro's Here (http://www.pricewatch.com/1/95/3987-1.htm)

Whatever the price is listed there I can probably get it at a lower price through a friend that advertises on pricewatch also. He mentioned to go with PowerEdge.... 1650 which can be found here (http://www.dell.com/us/en/bsd/products/model_pedge_pedge_1650.htm) starting at about $1,499.

I might be able to fork out a little more (on plastic :) ) for a brand name..?

Thanks...

If you want a pre-built 1U Micronux has them starting at $759:

http://www.micronux.com/cgi-bin/system.cgi?pid=10

Pogo has them starting at $999:

Otherwise the base systems you linked to seem to be okay for what you are trying to do...it all depends on how comfortable you feel putting the thing together :).
