View Full Version : Resellers...
JustinSmall 07-05-2005, 01:20 PM Now I have searched through and most are older posts so I dunno about the resellers current status.
So I'm asking again for everyone else... who is your reseller?
I'm not wanting to resell anything, I just need to make multiple cpanel accounts so that all meh mates can have their own accounts. I'm wanting a good amount of space (atleast 10 gigs) and I want atleast 100 gigs of bandwidth for a decent price. I'm mostly wanting uptime and speed, I don't want server lag basically, that would kill me badly! So if you ever experience server lag (day or night) please do not reply.
So to anyone who reads and replies, thanks a bunch I appreciate it!
MudxX 07-05-2005, 01:24 PM So your looking for a host that provides webhosting maneger. I use
turnkeyresellers
There Ok but not the best. :)
mripguru 07-05-2005, 01:26 PM What do you consider a "decent" price?
JustinSmall 07-05-2005, 01:27 PM I consider 15-25 decent, maybe 30
xDesign365 07-05-2005, 01:30 PM Then you have lots of options use the search function and find out a good reseller, or even look at peoples sigs. The best bet would be to get the shared and reseller adverts section.
JustinSmall 07-05-2005, 01:31 PM Yea, but you can't always trust them peoples. That's why I like peoples oppinions rather than the hosts oppinions.
mripguru 07-05-2005, 01:38 PM Might want to check out Site5.com then, I think they have plans within your pricerange (maybe not neccessarily with the exact specs you want, though.)
JustinSmall 07-05-2005, 01:47 PM Yea, someone else told me to check them out, they have decent prices.
layer0 07-05-2005, 01:56 PM Site5 has a very nice reputation, I'd recommend them as well. 10GB of space & 100GB of transfer is quite a large request, however. Do you really need all that?

I'm guessing by the first post, it's just for him and some friends - so my first instinct would be to say no. However, I will let the OP confirm this.
layer0 07-05-2005, 02:04 PM I'd suggest settling for ~ 4-5GB of space and 40-50GB of transfer if mripguru is correct. If you do this, it will reduce the cost substantially.

The RS-X special will do you pretty good.

JustinSmall 07-05-2005, 02:06 PM well before this, I was with another company who was giving me 10 gigs of space, and 100 for 15 a month. I was friends with them as why the cut me the deal. I actually do need atleast 80 gigs bw and atleast 10 gigs space. 10-100 is a 1-10 ratio as why I said 100 gigs bw.
JustinSmall 07-05-2005, 02:21 PM so on Site5 "multisite" is basically a reseller account but your not allowed to resell?
george49 07-05-2005, 02:28 PM I've used webresell.net for some domain batches and had great service, but the specs aren't what you're asking. Their premiums are pretty low for overage, though.
JustinSmall 07-05-2005, 02:33 PM that ded plan isn't all that bad I suppose, but I would prefer cpanel over VHCS, though I coudlnt find a link to their VHCS panel

You can clasiffy it as that. If you're just looking to host your friends, I think it will work just fine for you. Please note that you probably won't get private nameservers.

JustinSmall 07-05-2005, 02:55 PM I did some searching on here and seen some bad and good things about server pronto? anyone had any first hand experience with them?
DN-Imtiaz 07-05-2005, 03:48 PM I think you should get a VPS for that not a reseller account.
