I just got regstration forms through the post this morning for my .co.uk domain from nominet which I wasn't expecting , has anybody else had these and did you send them back ?

also is there a us equvalent to nominet that also require you to fill out forms for .com's .net's etc.

What you have probably had from Nominet are registration certificates. If this is the case, you need do nothing other than keep them safe, no need to fill anything in. The form is used only to change ownership of the domain name.

Typically you only get paper certificates from Nominet nowadays it seems, not from any .com etc registrars. Nominet used to take months and months to send the cert, now it seems a little quicker...

You will also get renewal forms advising of the renewal of the domain. The form with it allows you to confirm or change the registration details. I had one this morning and sent it back as requested - what the heck the envelope is pre-paid!

Fill in the form and sign it send it send the half you filled in back to nominet

They can Detag the domain if you dont
