Hi Everyone.

I know no one will probably answer this and say there isnt one but I thought it would be worth a try.

I want a free script or program that will work with PayPal and WHM to create hosting accounts and also accept orders for dedicated servers. I have looked at PHPcoin but didnt think it was that good.

Any Ideas.

There is TinyTool, but ever since they switched servers their Downloads page has been empty: http://www.teatoast.com/

Thanks for that I will keep looking for the download. Is it easy to install/use?

Any more out there?

You can try phpcoin, do not like much, but it is free.

I second that, PTNHosting, I used phpCoin for close to a year before switching to ModernBill... for beginners, phpCoin is fine. It's easy to install, and use, but it doesn't have many features.

For instance, in phpCoin you need to create packages, then create 'paylinks' and then assign those paylinks to the packages. Because of this, you need to create different clickable buttons for each package. It's support for manual payment also is buggy, as it doesn't enter it into the database as paid.

Summary:
It's free, it's good for the price, but if you want a really good billing software, go for whm.AP or MB.

Yeh I am very anti PHPcoin. Is there any other things out there for free. Maybe even just a signup for so that I can get there package details and information then get it emailed to me and I can send them the payment link?

That would be my last resort. HELP

jxhosting,

You could always use formmailer (http://www.scriptarchive.com/formmail.html)...

It will send you the output of a form in an E-mail, however, it will not do any accounting functions, or anything a good billing software will do. It also won't send out invoices, which most clients would like.

What I was wondering, why don't you get a Turnkey reseller plan, which includes a MB license? That would be cost-effective, and provide all that you need.

Ok Thanks. What providor would you recommend. I am in the UK so would prefer prices in GBP.

If you know PHP it would not be super hard to write a script yourself for what you want to do.

Try a search on hotscripts.com. I am sure you will get plenty of them.

I'm not sure but I don't think there are many free scripts that support billing and cpanel automation. I can think of one only which is phpcoin

Ahh yes.. I am sorry I overlooked his requirement for creating accounts in whm. Although you will find few scripts which are available for free and support paypal.

Thanks for pointing that out ! :)

IMO your asking for trouble down the road just to save some money. Think about when you get a lot of cutomers and want to add features that the free systems doesnt support.

Then you need to change over to a better system but then you probably will need to manually add each customer 1 by 1

I do not mean for this to be rude, but you expect to start a service people will pay you for without investing anything in it?

If you are looking for paypal + whm then you are obviously looking to start a hosting business, doing this without the proper capital and planning is just a horrible idea IHMO.

I am going to use ModernBill. I wanted to look around first. I can get a leased licesense of my privor for £10pm. Can I make it so I register the domains manually?
