I'd just go to loads of domain sellers' websites and see what they offer. Is domain privacy for .ca free?

I dont think that Cira even allows it - otherwise the major registrars would be selling it.

As far as I know Cira is a huge stickler on the details of a domain name, and the whois output is modified from, and taken from the cira database.

I know Kelly at Cira checks domains and suspends them on a daily basis for invalid whois, bad legal data, company data, not being a canadian citizen, and all sorts of things.

Cira has sooo many hoops to go through that its not even worth trying - you are risking the possibility of a suspension directly from cira, not even from your registrar, but cira itself!

The only chance is from a place that delivers their own whois data and then displays the masked data, but its not going to display the masked whois on any other site that does not use that places whois for its output - rendering the service utterly useless.
