NetXL 03-28-2002, 12:51 AM They're big... I think. About time they got a site though. They still could do a better job  Timothy 03-28-2002, 01:11 AM Maybe they're going for a "Keep It Simple Look". That order form does need some SSL though. teck 03-28-2002, 01:18 AM Wow! They've had their old page for a good 6+ years. appletreats 03-28-2002, 01:36 AM Not much of an improvment. At least I know what they offer now. So, technically there's no problem but they should have put the https order form: https://www.he.net/order.html Timothy 03-28-2002, 02:48 AM Taz - Oh Okay, I didn't submit the form so I didn't catch that. roly 03-28-2002, 03:07 AM much better than the old design! avara 03-28-2002, 06:56 AM I have to agree, this is truly the end of an era. It's making a grown man cry. :) :bawling: cperciva 03-28-2002, 07:05 AM Originally posted by taz0 The form is submitted to an https url. So, technically there's no problem Well... there isn't a problem as long as everyone verifies that the data is being submitted to the right (secure) location. As it is, someone could substitute a different order form which submitted its contents insecurely, and (almost) nobody would notice until too late. allan 03-28-2002, 05:46 PM Coincidentally, I interviewed Sommer Farrin, who is the HE marketing/pr person, today and I mentioned this thread and the order form problem. They have corrected it. |
