LOL - well, I must say Eladesor, you have one of the oddest website designs I've seen in a while.

I'm not sure what the connection is between a nude female wireframe model and webhosting, but I think you would have a more professional look if you'd put an image there that represents what you provide.

That's my opinion anyway.

(and not to say it's a bad model, but It doesn't fit the site in my opinion)

Thanks for 'bumping' the thread Guys :)

We thought it was going un-noticed ;)

With regard to the design, we just didn't want to immitate everyone else - you know the stereo image - must have a picture of a computer..... bla bla. Thanks for the comments - but its customers who matter - and it certainly doesn't stop them arriving :)

And to all who thought we host Adult Sites - your lack of reading ability precludes from getting the job :-)

well, do you know the value of customers who may not be purchasing your product because they feel your service to be unprofessional - just because of a wireframe model?

maybe your lack of respect is precluding YOU from having even more customers arriving at your door.

Like I said, I'm not offended, but from a strategic point of view, I think it'd be adventageous of you to put something more related to computing/webhosting on your site.

maybe a wireframe model of a computer?

LOL… So now we’re un-professional?
Excuse me if I’m wrong here, but have I slipped into twilight land here or something? This is the ‘job offers and requests’ thread isn’t it – only for a moment I thought I’d mistakenly posted in the Website Reviews section.

Spooky, forget what I said about being in the right thread – are we on the same planet?

You’re not offended? – LOL, this just gets better. The dedication to detail you exhibit is un-believable, such perfection…. Oh and you spell advantageous with an ‘a’.

maybe a wireframe model of a computer?

Er.. What can I say, thanks for the expert advice - we’ll certainly give it some thought (not!).

Gee… and people wonder why the Mods ban replies in these sections :)

Eladesor,

Your website says, "We’ve listened to you views, so at WebToNow you are in the driving seat."

I appreciate the fact you have listened to me, I wasn't attacking you, like you've made it out to be, only trying to show that some potential customers may not purchase your hosting because of the wireframe model. That was my only point, you didn't take my advice, and if you want to run your business that way, no one is stopping you.

I'm sorry if you feel I'm crapping your thread, considering yesterday, you were happy that we bumped it.

I'm sorry that I didn't catch my spelling error at 2 A.M. - I'll try to be more careful next time.

Good luck finding employees.

Just as some would not host with a host that host adult content, many would be offended by that wireframe model and not want to host there.

Just like people who don't buy Frosties because of the Tiger on the Box. ;)

Ever heard of Branding? this may be a clever marketing ploy to do something different and get peoples attention. Thanks to this thread 'Skelibabe' (as I believe she is known) is already becoming associated with WebToNow.

Andy.

But you would want to be associated with something good right? Not a naked wireframe model?

lol...has somebody slipped something into the WHT feed??

WTF are you people on about?? Since when was the design of Eladesors site 'evil' ?? !!

Note to mods : might be easier to have interviews before allowing people to sign up in future ;)

jonny -

I didn't see any post that said eladesor's site was evil.

I never said that I didn't like the wireframe model.

No, i won't forget that webtonow.com has a "skelibabe" on it. haha

but one question... what exactly is she doing?

wow, this is a pretty crazy thread...
I actually approve of the wireframe model, there needs to be some diversity in the world, yes some people may be offended, but those people can go to a different host, we can't have one hogging all the clients...

Although, I am sorry to have to say this but... Eladesor, I really do not approve of the method you took in responding to these comments... I don't think I would want to work for your company... no offense, but you were rude in some of your responses, and this may even scare some of your customers away... What if I was one of your clients (or potential clients) and you spoke to me like that when I had some pre-sales questions, or needed some support? I think I would have two words to say "REFUND PLEASE"

With that in mind, I wish you luck with your company, and finding workers. Although I do think you are asking quite a bit for a position that doesn't even pay any base salary or anything... Just my opinion, I am sure there are people out there that will be willing to work for you.

TheException:

Thanks for the constructive comments; I accept that I jumped into ‘defensive mode’ but so many threads trashed here on WHT – it’s like a form of bullying and that is something I will never tolerate. Whether it’ is my thread or someone else’s.
The difference between your reply (and some others) made, where that your comments were critical, but not derogatory – they were presented politely and in a constructive manner, something I have absolutely no problem with.

With regard to a potential employee being ‘put off’ by my replies – I think it also has a ‘flip side’. They may be ‘turned on’ by someone who defends the business, and doesn’t dive under the nearest stone – leaving them to it. Though I would expect them have a read of my other posts on WHT, before applying – which would give them the ‘big’ picture and not just this threads.

Thanks for wishing us good luck – it’s appreciated. The real irony here is that this thread has generated a massive interest in the site, with a couple of sales – now who gets the commission ;)

Kind regards
