I request dellz.com (one of the worst hosts ever) for a refund for the 6 months I haven't used with them. I decided to move away from them as fast as possible since they are NEVER UP and when they are their service is horrible. I ask them if I could shut down my site and get a refund for the money I haven't used which is what most companies should allow. Well I just get a message from them saying and I quote:
"Your account is past the refund date or 14 or 30 days and your account will be closed effective now."
They didn't give me a chance to save my stuff either. They just closed my account. If a hosting company has downtime (like every other day for several hours up TO ONE FULL DAY) shouldn't they give the customers at least something? They drove half of my customers away so far and this is very unprofessional. I asked them if I would get a refund when they close my account because of their lousy service and they said no. Shouldn't a hosting company give their ex-customers time to save their stuff before they close the whole thing down?
