I figured I would offer these on here to someone who could actually use them rather then to someone on Ebay.

The first machine for sale is a Compaq 700Z laptop, brand new. Used twice for one of the people here at the webdesign office and then they got a Apple G4 and used that instead.

Specs:
AMD Duron 1Ghz
384 MB of RAM
6X CD-RW/DVD Combo Drive
30GB HD
56K/NIC
13.3 TFT Display
JBL Pro internal Speakers
WinXP Home Ed (CD included, Fresh Install on the machine)
NAV 2002

NO damages to the casing or monitor.

Everything that came with it except the box is included. Even the defcon notebook alarm and the logitech webcam. I don't have the boxes anymore, because I brought them home and let my snakes eat mice out of them for a few weeks before throwing them out. (Can't feed them babies in their cage and I don't think the box is much use after the snakes and mice do their business!)

The next is an server that is no longer in use, we actually had it colocated in Texas and the ISP shutdown and we just bought a server to replace it.

Specs:
Pentium III 500Mhz
Intel Mobo w/ Onboard SCSI (I don't recall the model #, But I will update as soon as I get it)
784 MB of Ram PC133
9.1GB 10K Seagate SCSI HD
9.1GB 7.2K IBM SCSI HD
Intel 10/100 NIC
Mid Tower case
NO CD-ROM/NO VIDEO
NOTHING INSTALLED
(Will include CDs for linux or bsd installation if desired)

No damages to the case.

You can PM me with offers, and if you have any questions to answer. You might want to reply to the thread, so everybody can look at previous answered questions.

Will accept wire transfers, checks, or paypal.

Buyer MUST pay for shipping.

Thank you,

Some ball-park prices would probably be helpful, if you've got an idea of what you'd like for them. :)

With three people asking after the laptop within 30 minutes, I'd guess that the price just went up. ;)

Looking at around $1,250 before shipping, I still have to find out how much shipping costs (depends what method the buyer wants).

There's a link to a store selling them, because someone PMd me to tell me that the 700Z doesn't exist. :)

$1210 is with 128mb ram, 10gb hd, no cdrw/dvd combo etc.. it would cost $1500+ with the specs he is selling it with.

I'll pay $100 for the laptop! (if you ever get desperate to get rid of it, my sister needs one and due to my overwhelming hate for compaq, that's more than I said I'd ever pay for one) :D

<So you are telling me that you are selling it second hand for $1250, when I can purchase it brand new for $1210??? >

That was just the basic configuration on their site, you have to do a bit of configuring and then update the price. As for that machine isn't even close to the one that I'm selling.

I don't think the price is too much to ask, there's nothing wrong with the machine and we're loosing money.. whoever buys it will be getting it for cheaper then they can buy at a store but still get store quality.

The only reason we're selling it is because it's sitting around here and not being used.

This item was purchased three days before Christmas, we got it on Christmas Eve. The person that it was assigned to brought it home, booted it up. Did a few hours worth of work on it, and put it away. On Christmas her husband brought her a brand new Apple G4. So she had no use for the work laptop anymore. Rather then just letting it sit around her house, she returned it. That's why we are selling it.

Sorry for any confusion, I thought my me stating the specs and then showing you a link where you can configure one like it would not make people confused.

Have a good night,
