I want to start cheap hosting service, with low cost plans (starts from $1.99). Don't know, if 2checkout is good for such cheap bills?

Or maybe better to bill one per 3 months?
How you customers pays? Are any problems with 2checkout.
Thank you

We have several 2Checkout accounts. All of them seem to be just fine and don't cause any problems.

Selling items for $1.99 and then paying processor fees, server fees and other over head will quickly eat any profits from the $1.99.

Although I have never used them, another processor that seems to have lower fees it BluePay. You might take a look at them.

Hello,
I have been using 2co in my personal company and also my main company for a while. I have had no problem with them.

The best thing i think about 2co is there fraud protection, if you have someone who purchases with a US cred card and there ip is say in the uk for example. The money shows up and going threw fraud check. This is where 2co basically check it out and then phone them to verify the order was placed by them. I have noticed this is a lot better than PayPal does.

I would advise going for it, especially if you plan to get a fair amount of customers as a lot of people do not trust paypal.

we use them over 2 years, only problem is some time you do not have control for your order.

yea, yea. But if you know its not fraud and you have checked your self just phone the toll free number and tell them and they accept it. what controls do you mean?

we had many time we know client order is not fraud but 2checkout cancel them so need to ask clients to use another way to make payments. 2checkout always take clients site not us they will issue refunds without ask we are right or wrong .

clients also some time doing this crazy , one time one guy doing charge back so I ask him why but he said sorry "that was a wrong", he don't know that we bill for him . he charge back for wrong guys.

yes Dan Reloaded right you need manually check every orders. some time fraud orders didn't mark by 2checkout.

I wonder if the 50$ starting fee of 2co is for lifetime or not?

You asked yes or no? Yes. We use it. It has it fair share of problems (or drawbacks), but two years and still growing strong, I guess we are okay with it.

Support takes forever to reply. Fraud checks you need to be a little more vigiliant on. Otherwise its not too bad!
