Take a look at how much DellHost.com is paying per click.

does this mean we can bankrupt several major hosts by just clicking on links lol. 15 bucks per click that seriously cant be right.

I don't know why people pay to be listed on those types of search engines. I myself hate these type of search engines. I prefer good 'ol' google.com

I don't know why people pay to be listed on those types of search engines. I myself hate these type of search engines. I prefer good 'ol' google.com Of course practically no one searches at Overture. But their listings are prominently placed at MSN, AOL, etc. -- places where people do search.

That simply can not be true!! $15 for one click? naa! :o

Google also has paid links, but they are much less priced.

It's been more than a year since I used a search engine other than google, and I probably do at least 20-30 searches a day.

Just as a side note, Google currently shows CPC for "dedicated hosting" in the Adwords Select program at $4.84. None of those $15 Overture clients appear under that keyphrase in Adwords.

Er, you guys have to remember that DellHost isn't actually run by dell, i forget who's behind it, wasn't it like interland or something?

But Dell themselves do not run DellHost.com

But Dell themselves do not run DellHost.com Depends on what you mean by "run." Dellhost is a division of Dell, and I'd expect that it's that Dell division that pays for any advertising, including the Overture campaign. The actual operation is outsourced to Interliant.
