Right now I'm using ModernBill, however I'm moving over to a VPS that offers ClientExec for free. My whole game plan has switched around and now I plan on just hosting a few people.

Does ClientExec have an order page that I can incorporate? I didn't see one in the demo or in the screenshots. Or is it just a member management script?

I know it supports PayPal, but I read somewhere that it might not have support for subscriptions until version 2.5, is that true? Or is there already support for that?

Thanks for your help.

Alright, I have found the order form. Is it easy to integrate?

I would keep Modernbill.... if you did a Searc on the 2.. You'll see 90% of the people that came from Client Exec to Modernbill... That they will never go back.. Client Exec is like the Baby Modernbill... It will take a few more years to be anything like the Modernbill of today..

Stick With Modernbill... (i'd sell your copy of Client Exec to a customer of your or something of that sort...)

if you still need the info about clientexec...

Clientexec is the basics. It saves the user infos and send the invoices. Do not use it to do your taxes reports ;)
User can log in to see archived invoices or pay their invoices using all the standard pay gateway.

The signup form is pretty easy to integrate since is just a link like http://youdomain.com/clientexec_path/signup.php ...

also, the signup script can create the account in cpanel.

IMO, if you are a small hosting company with just a few customers, clientexec should be perfect.

Sweet, thanks, you told me everything I wanted to hear. I'm getting the license free no matter what and I figured why pay for Modernbill when I can use this. I'm only going to be hosting a few people, and I'm just looking for a support desk, auto-creation, and some sort of billing all tied into one. Thanks again for your help.

I don't know about the support desk since i didn't used it so far. I'm the only one running the business and i'm also having a small number of customers, so support is one request every two or three months... and always from the same customer :)

The best is to never have downtime. Monitor your servers... and support desk is not used very often.
