I just wanted to ask if some of you could ping or traceroute Aborior's site for me. It's hosted in Australia, so I'm interested in knowing if it's running nice and fast from the US end (about half our visitors come from the US). I've tried tracert.com, but many of the servers they have to tracert from don't let you, and I'm not too good at interpreting the output either.

Can a few of you from the US and other parts of the world ping or tracert aborior.com for me? As far as I know, the site itself is fairly compact, and it loads fine locally (from Canberra, I think the server's in Melbourne: http://www.cyberhost.com.au).

Thanks in advance.

(Note to admins: I don't intend this to be an ad, if you're concerned, I don't mind if you move it to the advertising forum)

Point 8 usually indicates a firewall or packet filtering device of some sort guarding the Tera-Byte/4webspace network. Steve can give you the correct answer :)

Thanks BC, looks good.

Yours took a more direct route than mine... I did a trace route from Canberra and it went to Melbourne, then back to Canberra, then to Sydney, and then to Melbourne again.

Kind of like flying with a budget airline.

schweiz - thanks, I'll try that one out.
