Hey,

After a few months of computer trouble i am back, unfortunetly i have lost the username and password to my 3 main domain names.

I bought them via a reseller, and now they are gone and can't help.

So i know i now need to login using eNom, however i cannot remember my username or password or even the email used for them.

I have tried sending them emails, both reseller and eNom, i have also guessed things and looked through archives but no look.

How can i resolve this problem?

thanks

- are the domains actives ?
- are you the technical person of these domains ?
- who is in the whois ? you or other person ?

start by using the "Reseller Information Retrieval Tool" and make sure you have the right reseller. http://www.enom.com/help/

if the resleler is out of biz enom will help you in creating new account and moving the domains

if not use any registry rocket link to reset the password via email (if set) then unlock the domains and transfer the domains to ur own enom account or to any other reseller you like.

Hey tried the rocket suggestion,

They just send me blank emails without the password it says:

Below is the password for the domain you requested.

Password is

If the password is empty please contact the reseller at:

Enom have failed to reply to my emails within the last 2 months

Expiration Date: 04-sep-2005 Since the status for this one is ACTIVE, if your email address is listed under the ADMINISTRATIVE contact in the whois, then you can open an account at another registrar like NameCheap and initiate a regular transfer to regain control.

eNom is probably responding to your support inquiries, but they might be sending emails to the email address listed under your old account. I've never had eNom support ignore me (although I don't always get the answer I want :D).

I had this happen to me several years ago with a different registrar. After I lost a few domains to BuyDomains, I became quite anal about tracking passwords and logins. Good Luck! ;)

Could you explain how i could get the 3 back, all 3 have the correct email (chrisreilly atgmail.com)

I am sorry, this eNom stuff has sent me west.

Would the transfer to NC be quick?

The other domains, with the status of REGISTRAR-LOCK, have to be unlocked before they can be transferred.

If the original eNom reseller is out of business and you cannot login to your account, then eNom support is probably your only hope.

A transfer to NameCheap or to a new reseller account (Bashar has them at $8.95 I believe) would take 3 to 7 days I believe... been a long time since I've done a transfer to NameCheap or even an internal eNom one without doing a push.

Gald your issue is resolved. Always keep records of your domain details online somewhere which won't go down for a very long time.
