Okay, I've got this major annoying problem with my computer. See, I like to play MP3's while on computer and after about 2 hours of my computer being my MP3's skip like crazy. Everytime I switch a to a new window, or even when I'm browsing a webpage. (Just skipped right now for some reason) I've tried switching PCI slots, downloading new drivers, and even Re-Formatting didn't help it. I've tried using Music Match Jukebox, Windows Media Player and Real One and it does it in them all. So if you guys could help me, it would really nice. Oh yeah my sound card is a (don't laugh): Creative Soundblaster AudioPCI 64V.
Sounds possibly like a windoze 98 memory problem, that may just be solved by a doing a reboot.
Happens to me occasionally with a SBL.
Lats...
Download a program that will free up memory such as FreeMem or MemTurbo. Should solve it. HTH

The problems that Creative had were mainly with their Sound Blaster Live 5.1 cards. They tend to skip, lockup the PC, programs, etc. The one you mentioned I haven't heard of having problems. I would say try to find a driver one less than you are currently using. I've seen many times with various hardware devices that new drivers don't work as well as older versions. It is software and just like anything else, they could have made a bad newer version of the drivers.

The PROBLEM is WINDOWS 98 (if that's what you have).
Get WINDOWS 2000..
