Does anyone have any suggestions of a host that has:

- Low setup / monthly costs
- Some sort of control panel included (Ensim/Cpanel)
- Decent servers
- Reselling allowed
- A lot of bandwidth included (something comparable to rackshack?)

Thanks!

Do you have a budget figure for the dedicated server? Or do you want a reseller account on a shared hosting?

Sina,

Does that price include Cpanel/WebHost Manager?

My budget is about $150/mth. I would of purchased a server with rackshack already, but their setup fees are

Nope, it Does not include Cpanel. They charge you $90 a month for cpanel, however you can get the licence through a reseller for $50 - $60 and take care of it yourself or have them install it for you.

Things to mention about them is that:

They are very nice people
Their support is great and so is their responce time

and more than everything their service is good

This is an idea that doesn't get a lot of play around here -- but what about doing it yourself?!?

You can make payments on a decent web server for about 100/month.

There are open source control panel applications out there. Check out sourceforge.

You could then go with someone like Rackmy.com for 50 bucks/month plus bandwidth charges.

if you get more than 1 licence im sure all the dirurbuters will provide you a reasonable price. you just have to contact them dont rely on the prices they have on the webwite. and let them know about your company and the growth your having and .....

And if your running a Webhosting Biz you sure need more than one licence; right ?

And I did see somebody mentioning the $60 price on Sailors thread when he first introduced his plans in the Special Offers.
However if its your first server with tranxact you better ask them for the cpanel just to be safe.

and if you go with the Distributors the price is around 35 to 40.

The cheapest place I know is Pwebtech that charges $40 for WHM/CPanel.

which that is probably within their own servers.
I know that Site5 charges $30 for that matter.

Not too sure about all those low prices that other companies are offering CPanel for, but eServers.biz are charging $75/month now, instead of the old $90/month.

Just wondering, but how has PWebTech been lately, I haven't heard much about them on here so I guess their customers are very happy and no-one is complaining? Do they really offer CPanel for $40/month internally?

you heard it somewhwre, but not able to give us a name ..

I just wish people would be a little more carefull when they open their mouths, 60.00 for an extrenal license is nowhere to be seen, unfortunately becuase people hear it from a friend that heard it from another friend that the world was flat means that people come to us (the distributors) bitching that somebody else is selling it for peanuts.

Regarding pwebtech (pegasus), other than the usual intermittent problems everything is fine. The DCJN network I am connected to is cheap and cheerfull but still quality (really great bang for the buck IMHO).

There were a couple of outages yesterday. A power problem with one/some racks and a DOS attack. A few of weeks ago there was a router problem at NAC. Some minor intermittent blips in the network here or there, but otherwise pretty damned good.

Other regulars who are I know are using pwebtech you could also get feedback from are ffeingol (serverexpert.com), splashhost (splashhost.com), voxtreme-matt (voxtreme.com). Who else?

Any pwebtech customers who are on the DCJN network pls pm me with your ICQ number. It's good to keep in touch.

Hope that is not going too far off-topic, but pwebtech might be able to offer an affordable dedi+cpanel on their DCJN. I would contact them for a quote.
