I have setup a DNS server, DNS4.applelaptopbattery.com. I followed the directions, suggestions, and advice to set this up. I then added a virtual site, www.memoryreader.com. I also followed the directions, etc to set this up. When I attempt to connect to the site through FP, I do not see the virtual site. However, if I FTP to the site, I can explore and find the www.memoryreader.com.

Have I missed a step or configured something incorrectly?

I am not seeing memoryreader.com resolving at all. When was the name server updated with your domain provider? Also I see you mentioned you updated DNS4.applelaptopbattery.com did you also do your DNS3.applelaptopbattery.com?

How did you set this up in your raq? I am assuming you are on your own box and have control panel access.

This is where I have been running into problems. I have changed memoryreader.com to point to DNS3 & DNS4. The changes have not propagated yet.

I am going to make DNS3 the primary DNS server, DNS4 the secondary server, and I will have two other Cobalt servers, one for mail and one for other websites.

I created the virtual site on DNS4 and I can see it there via telnet, ftp, or ssh. I cannot connect FP to this page.

I am not sure what to do next.
