Hi everyone,

I own the domain hostingdirectories.com and was wondering whether i should develop it, or sell it to someone.

Can anybody help me decide what this domain is worth and/or what i could do with it?

If you have time develop it, if not sell it. It would probably be worth quite a bit. There is also a lot of sites out there that offer the same service, so you would have competition. But you could charge people for good positions in the directory etc.. and banners. Or you could sell it, I think in the long run you would make a WHOLE lot more developing the site yourself.

That's my 2 cents.

I personally think it is really long... but it is a domain that people guess and go to. Sell it if you don't have the time to develop it.

The term(s) "hosting directories" has some pretty high bids at overture.com ( $.46 is the high bid ) so I would say it is definately worth something. I would say it would have to be fairly popular before anyone would want to give you any serious money for it though. I'd say develop it, let it run for a while, then keep it if it's not too much of a burden, sell it if it is. Just my $.02..

thanks everyone, since so many people suggested i develop the site first, i guess i'm going to spend some of my free time doing so :)
