Hey pplz. I've been considering VO (http://www.venturesonline.com) for awhile now and have stumbled upon PerfectHost (http://www.perfecthost.net) a few hours ago. Could u plz post your opinions about them as well as any experiences with them you may have had.

Well VO have a very solid reputation........and I have only seen and heard good things about them............since I have never heard of perfecthost, i would recommend ventures........

Perfect host has been around for a while. I have worked with Lamar the owner of perfect host in our past life as resellers and from what I have observed he is very honest, dedicated and he is provides personalized support. He has always been very helpful to others.

I would suggest creating a detailed list of questions that you believe will be important to you and your hosting needs then send the same list to both Perfect Host and VO and see what you get back. I would look for a timely response with very detailed answers. I am sure you will be very happy with the response that you would receive back from the Perfect Host team.

About a month ago, I had the same choice to make. I decided to go with Perfecthost and have not regretted it. Support is great and my sites have not been down at all {I only have a few}.

I am not a full-time reseller, so I asked them if I could use the account you get for your own hosting site for something else. They said yes, the choice was mine, so I am going to use it for a genealogy site.

To my embarrassment, I have had to ask for support for account passwords, mysql databases {in my defence, I had never used mysql :) }, help with email problems - which turned out to be on the part of a resold account's setup in Outlook Express, and general questions. Every time Maureen or Lamar were there for me and did not get upset with me or talk down to me. They give it a personal touch. So now I recommend Perfecthost every chance I get. You can't go wrong with them.

There are a lot of satisfied VO clients on this board. While I have not used them before, I recommend VO as I have heard good comments from other people whom I know are using them.
