Hi

We found ourselves with 2 extra servers that is to be released as we have found it to be surplus requirements. These servers are ready for use immediately. They are currently used as backup servers, and I think you would find their specifications suitable for similar usage.

We will help to manage the servers and if you need our assistance in configuring your servers for backups, please let us know as we can share our expertise in that including some backup scripts we use ourselves. If you use Rsync, the backup doesn't need much bandwidth and each of the servers allocation is more than sufficient. They were used to backup almost 150 servers previously, for an idea of the kind of capacity you can acquire here.

These servers are located at ThePlanet and hosted under Tailormadeservers. Please quote Server number you are interested in in your email. You can email your questions/ orders to: sales @ sprintserve.net (remove spaces). Once sold, it's gone.

Server 1:
P4 2.4Ghz

4 x 250GB IDE (Total of 1TB)
1000GB B/w
$199/month, no setup

Server 2:
P4 2.6Ghz
1GB RAM
4 x 250GB IDE (Total of 1TB)
1000GB B/w
$199/month, no setup

Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

This is an example of a server:

/dev/hda1 238600192 6151428 220328528 3% /
tmpfs 516676 0 516676 0% /dev/shm
/dev/hdb1 241263968 32828 228975556 1% /drv2
/dev/hdc1 241263968 32828 228975556 1% /drv3
/dev/hdd1 241263968 32828 228975556 1% /drv4

or in df -h

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda1 228G 5.9G 211G 3% /
tmpfs 505M 0 505M 0% /dev/shm
/dev/hdb1 231G 33M 219G 1% /drv2
/dev/hdc1 231G 33M 219G 1% /drv3

Hi. An update.

P4 2.4 is actually 4 x 200GB

and

P4 2.6 is actuall 2 x 200GB, 2 X 250GB

Sorry for the error in the specifications. I was told otherwise, but logging in, those seems to be the specs. As such, I be lowering the price on both to $175/month!

Let me know if you have any questions.
