Hi,
I have a problem with my RaQ4... I installed MailScanner and (I dont know if that is why I have the problem) suddenly I have the "Relaying denied" error...
When we try to send a mail with port 25 it gives you the "Relay denied, try sending mail first" error. When we connect to port 2525 (mirror/forwarded to 25) it DOES work...
Does anyone know what this could be?

I am getting the same error.
Does anyone has a solution. I also recently installed MailScanner.

did you switch off your mailserver? you really need todo this for it to work.

What do you mean by switch off mailserver? Mail seemed to go perfectly before yesterday evening, but now for some reason I cannot send the mails.
Would'nt I stop receiving emails if I will switch off the mailserver?

MailScanner requires you to switch off your Email Server in order to work. MailScanner then becomes your email server and throwing any emails that may contain a virus into one specified email account.

Well, we installed MailScanner through the Guide at uk2raq.net (faq id is 96). Unlike you, we are using F-prot instead of Sophos so we have basically some different structure setup over the place.
Anyone else that got the same problem solved?

Short question as I haveconsidered installing mail scanner myself - how would you shut dond the aQ mail server?
would you have control in the GUI or only on a command line?
Would there beany other settings that need to be changd?
