To those that offer hosting reseller plans... how much do you think a reseller customer that pays $30 per month is worth?

(a reseller customer is one that purchases a reseller plan then sells their space/bandwidth at retail prices)

How much would you be willing to pay to aquire 1? 10? 100?

Sounds like he is wanting to promote reseller programs..

It would be different for each reseller though. Many are just starting out, and others have many customers.

I would think you would want to base it on how many sites the reseller would bring in durring his first 30 days. Say $5.00 each account.
Our resellers buy each plan seperately... not bulk space, then fill that space. We offer more features with our though, like the control panel and all the goodies that go with it, so they buy each account seperately.

If a host sold bulk space, then had the reseller fill that space, I guess the fair rate would be 30.00 if he sold that plan for 30 a month.

I never really thought of paying referral fees for someone finding resellers... but hey, if your up for that, email me.
