Greetings all,

I am an existing reseller with accounts at ***** (HATE THEM), Virginia.com (HATE THEM) and Online Institute (They're OK) but want to find out who the best reseller for the money is and this seemed like the place to ask.

I see that no one here ever mentions the big boys like Verio or Aplus.net but even in my research, they seem too pricey and dont' offer enough space and POP accounts for the money and lets face it, we're all trying to make a buck or two right?

What I'm looking for is a RELIABLE unix host that offers lots of space and unlimited POP accounts for a really good price, plain and simple. Customer service and uptime are VERY important!!

And I also want one that has a very easy control panel to manage my sites with....not Webmin though!!

I currently have about 15 clients and want to begin picking up more clients but want to migrate all my sites over to one provider until such time as I am ready to get my own dedicated server.

I've done a ton of research (and boy can that be tiring) but you never really know what kind of service you're getting until you've already signed up with someone so I'm asking you guys...the experts...who should I be looking at and who should I be staying away from?

Thanks In Advance!!

Jimmy Powell

well there are really good sites offering great services and support to resellers out there !

splashhost.com gets my vote ! there are also mchost.com and voxtreme.com ! But I dont know about their support and how it works !

Basically you should be looking at someplace offering Web Host Manager/Cpanel with unlimited features. and ofcourse a good support.

It seems like everyone here is of the opinion that splashhost.com is the way to go, and based on their prices, I can see why.

Is there anyone who's had any bad experiences with them or their customer service? Just wanna do my homework!

What about remarkablehosting.com?

Any thoughts on them?

I used to be with splashhost (they were my backup account) and Alan is a nice guy and knows what's going on. HOWEVER, during my last month there someone was crashing the server, which has been solved now.... and to be honest, downtime was actually minimal...

Splashhost is good... :) Though unfortunately it no longer fits my plans... that's why I left (in case you were wondering)...

Yeah there was some crash at Splashhost but Alan came back stronger as he installed firewalls and some other security measures (he claimed).
