I have some strange questions to ask.

As a reseller, how important is it to you to have the ability to use your own control panel skin?

Will it make or break your decision to go with a particular host?

In your eyes, does it make a company look more professional to use a custom skin, or does it not matter at all?

What are your thoughts on hosts providing multiple control panel skins to choose from? Is this more desirable, or does it not matter?

I think it is an option that I would like.

Not likely if everything else was great.

I think a custom skin is nice and professional, but if it isn't custom I won't mind.

Supplying skins to choose from is a definate plus IMO.

The first company i went with had a branded control panel which i didnt like, i would have definitely liked to have been able to change it.
The two companies i use now let me have custom skins which is a nice + , however it isnt a thing that i would base my whole decision on

I understand and agree with you that it is not the main focus of choosing a host to work with. But, suppose you were comparing 3 hosts which were similar in support, uptime, network, etc. and one of the hosts offered skins from which to choose. Would that tip the scales for you? If that host were slightly more expensive ($1 to $5 more), would it be worth it? If that host were slightly less expensive ($1 to $5 less) would it make you feel better about the deal you received?

This is interesting to me, as we do not furnish various skins right now, but are looking into it. I noticed today that a couple of other hosts (not many though) offer a selection of skins...so much for an original idea!;)

I think the option to fully brand your services increases your client's trust in you and your company.

This means that you can have more clients and obviously a better image among them.

Though if you ge a great reseller package you can let it on a second plan.

I'm currently in the process of choosing a reseller plan for my company. I definitely think that having customisable skins is a big plus and is worth paying a few bucks more for.
