I have 8 of the Servermatrix MatriXtreme 2.8 20Mbps boxes which I currently pay $299 a month for. Since they just raised their prices, I figured some people might like to have them. My needs have changed, so I don't need them anymore.

I'm asking for $150 per server transfer each one to different people. You pay SM directly for the account transfer ($75) and the OS reload ($25). You can buy multiples or single boxes out from under me. You would take over the server on the first of July since I'm paid up until then. I have a sales rep who is willing to work with us on this. You can either have your own account in Orbit already, or she will set you one up.

The real benefit to you is if you plan on having this server for a while. You're basically saving $70 per month on their $0 setup plan.

PM me to get contact info or to discuss this further. If I don't get any takers, I will cancel them and turn them in next Tuesday.

These are good servers .. i have one for my file hosting site. Don't let cogent put you off ... I have seen RTG graphs show 25Mbp peaks several times with mine.
Man .. I wish I had the cash .. maybe if the sale of one of my sites goes well I will take one ... hopefully they might still be available next week saturday or so.

Are you saying they're $299/each per month, or is that for all 8?

I guess he/she does mean each are $299 a month or that would be an unbelievable offer

If it was $299/month for all 8, I wouldn't be getting rid of them. =)

They're just like the old SM pricing, $299 per server, which is still a great price.

I'm basically looking to recover my setup fees and pass the server along to someone else.

I have put in for the cancellations, but if anyone is interested, I can probably uncancel them if you'd like to jump on these old pricing models.
