Hi,
I am looking at signing up with one of the two (OpenSRS is always an option as well).. Has anyone of you used GoDaddy or Enom for reselling? The main things I need are a back-end already setup which can be changed around if needed (logo is a must), my clients can login and change whois information and DNS information, not a lot of coding needs to be done to start (if any) :D
Please post what you think about both companies. Also if you know any other companies that would be good let me know. The thing that would be nice is no fee to join (or not a big one at least).
Thank you..

in my opinion the best choice of those two is enom.com
although they require an initial one time purchase of domain names of around US$500, you get domain names. I may be wrong but i think that you get absolutely nothing for the US$99 annual licencing fee at Godaddy.
enom has all the requirements that you are after. I currently use them and the system that they have in place is very good.
However the major reason why enom is the better of the two is that as a reseller, for customers that discover you are a reseller of enom, when they visit the enom site they will see a price of 29.95 for a domain name. If a customer realises that you are a reseller of godaddy, they will see a price of 8.95 and will more than likely make future purchases directly from godaddy.

Hi,
I am using godaddy for reselling and I have had no problems whatsoever with them and you can be up and running very quickly.
Now, I am not saying they are better than enom but, part of my original decision to use godaddy was because I had narrowed my original choices down to enom or godaddy and I emailed enom for some info and by the time they replied, I had joined godaddy was set up and sold my first domain name.
That said, the reply from enom was very helpful but it was too late. The long reply may have been a one off but, it might be worth dropping them an email to check.

How much cheaper is it to resell? With enom and godaddy, I couldn't find any info at either sites.

From memory, the wholsale price at godaddy is 12 cents less than their retail.

Godaddy retail or bulk retail?

Godaddy retail or bulk retail?
Both, if someone is purchasing a 10 year domain from you, you will be purchasing at the 10 year price from godaddy.
Same applies for bulk transfers or 1 year purchases.
