I, like many other designers on this board get quite annoyed when we see people posting 'jobs' which are actually requests for free work and this isnt stated in the post.

There is nothing wrong with posting a request for free work if you get someone to do it for you. However, in this forum category it is misleading and only serves to waste the time of designers who are looking for an income.

To remedy this, do you think ti would be a solution to have a forum category called "Free work requests" - "Work for your portfolio". You could have the description as: Companies: looking to get some help with a design for free? Post here. Freelancers, looking for some work to fill your portolfio? Check out this forum.

This would eliminate stuff like the other recent topic on this forum. if people knew it was for free work befreor eplying then there would be no problems.

And no one should advertise in there if they mean to get some income. They are solely for FREE ones.
