I am looking to relaunch our website.. I am just wondering if there is any development service that would provide technical writting service like content provision, comprehensive technical documentation, Editing and Proofing.

I have someone on my staff who might be able to help you. She's very good - web site content, technical writing, public relations, etc. Lots of national media experience. Quality isn't cheap, though, but I have no idea what price range you're looking for. PM me with your budget.

If you haven't checked e-lance yet (www.elance.com) it might be a good place to start. Granted the underbidding is rampant by inexperienced companies, so I'd highly recommend having a good dialog first with the bidders that interest you.

I'm sure there are many people on this forum who would be interested, prehaps you should drop a message in the jobs section as well?

As for elance and similar services... they generally get good results but don't simply go for the lowest bidder espcially for a content provider.... look at the whole package and pick whos good, not just whos cheap.
