If you're looking for recommendations for someone to do a website design and you have a spec in mind then you'd be advised to post it and ask if anyone has had anyone do something similar and whether they would recommend the designers work after the fact...

There's lots of designers out there but you can't beat word of mouth from a number of sources.

I'm acually curious as to how long a piece of string ACUALLY IS?

that is what i am looking for are some recommendations. I am not looking for a site with extreme design work, just need a hosting web site redone..nothing like pixelbrick or anything, but smoething professional.

You may however recommend compnaies you've used in the past (which is what it seems like you'd be doing). If not, then yes, don't post it (and please don't post that you can't post it).

As for designers, Greg here on the forums did the better poart of hosthideout and some of the host's sites (hosts who are members here), URL is http://www.avemedia.com & http://www.akashik.net

Also the Hostrocket design by pixelbrick is probably a higher end site design (though not the highest end). I believe they do smaller sites as well (have to ask to be sure).
