The only way a server could do this is if it set up aliases without you knowing it. In other words, no.

I seems like you can do this in Plesk until you realize that user 'chicken' for domain woobster.com actually gets mail at: woobster-com-chicken@woobster.com

I don't know how exactly the XTR's work, I haven't used one, but the theory is the same with any Linux server (there can only be one user named 'bob' on the system).

The answer is no.

What you need to do it use your site numbers to differentiate the joe users, and then set up aliases for each, as in

site1 userID joe01 receives mail at alias joe@site1.com

site2 userID joe02 receives mail at alias joe@site2.com
