I need some opinions on the following reseller plans. These will be hosted on a Intel Pentium III 1GHz with 1GB of ram with 100% uptime. We can offer 100% uptime because...

We have Redundant Internet Connections. Our datacenter has multiple connections from different backbone providers; huge fiber connections from the largest and most trusted providers around.

Our servers, equipment and network are of the highest quality and our data center is world class! We provide dedicated solutions based on the UNIX platforms, our network is 100% Cisco with two Cisco 7513 Routers and Switches.

The datacenter is located in the Atlanta, our Data Center is located in one of the 2 main Telco Hotel vaults in Atlanta - with access to all the major and IP backbones and the highest quality of power and security in the city.

Reliability exceeds 99.999%. The main electrical room provides clean, consistent power via switchgear, UPS systems, multiple feeds and generator backup to ensure a consistent supply of power to the facility.

In additional to the on-site security staff, access is controlled by state-of-the-art identification systems, including a biometric hand scanner and card reader.

Providing high powered hosting solutions 24/7 can be demanding on both the hardware and the network. As everyone is aware, hardware can fail but we will do our utmost to ensure that even in this extreme circumstance interruption to your service will be kept to a minimum.

Here are the plans...

-------------------------------------
RESELLER 1

2 GB webspace
15 GB Multi-Homed bandwidth
Plesk for you/customers
$45.00/month
-------------------------------------
RESELLER 2

4 GB webspace
30 GB Multi-Homed bandwidth
Plesk for you/customers
$55.00/month
-------------------------------------
RESELLER 3

6.5 GB webspace
60 GB Multi-Homed bandwidth
Plesk for you/customers
$75.00/month
-------------------------------------

If you have any other questions just ask :)

My opinion hopefully to get this thread kicking, so don't take it too seriously...

-The RESELLER 1 seems to be a little too expensive (relative to the other hosts anyways). If I am a potential customer personally if I were to choose I would choose a cheaper host, who's been around longer, who provides good service. Not to say that yours is bad (I'm sure it's good, since you're sure to make sure it is :))

Additional information would be helpful
-# of domains
-support guarantees
-add-on's

Hope this helps. Good luck :karate: :agree:

Not bad. Overall, they are competitive but adequate to allow a profit. However, if I was tweaking, I would suggest the following:

Your pricing for the various levels of bandwidth is too close. Yes, the bigger plans should give a better deal, but not this much better. Also, you need a good low end price plan, something cheaper than what you have for starting resellers (to compete with those such as Splashhost and McHost).

Working around your middle plan at $55, I would lower your Reseller I plan to somewhere between $30 - $35. In fact, I would as configured make it $33 or take a bit out of it...and hit the magic price point of $29.95 or such.

Likewise, I would raise the Reseller III plan to around $90. That would give you three distinctive levels, all competitively priced.

Also, I am afraid you will find Plesk is not a favorite among resellers. I think if you read polls conducted here you will find CPanel to be the more popular choice-at least until Hostgui is released.

You have forgotten to say how many domains are you going to allow in each plan. (This is important if you have a limmited domain license on your Plesk CP).

Yes, this is why I asked for peoples opinions. Thanks, I appreciated them. I am still working out the pricing. I will make a few adjustments to the pricing.

 I think theses prices are more than reasonable. Especially with the quality of the datacenter and hardware. There are very few people that can offer 100% uptime.
