I just purchased a dedicated server account that came with Ensim Pro. As I have no expierence I would like to get some advise from the experienced users overhere.
Any security issues, problems that I should know???
Thanks,
Luc

Personally, I'd wipe Ensim clean off the box and put something else on there (cPanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin). Depending on where you got the server, they're bound to have an option although it might cost more. I used Ensim for two years and upgrading and maintenance was such a pain.

And upgrading Plesk is not a pain?

I'd say it's better then Ensim - where it goes into post-maintenance and is permanently stuck until you lodge a CaseConnect issue for $50 and they probably run some .sh file that gets you back on track.
This *was* back when it was 3.0/3.1 so things *might* have changed.

Problem: no experience, wich means that anything is ok as long as it works. My host seems to offer good support, so i'll stick to the ensim thing for a while. Anyway, I only use it to manage my own domains.

Ensim's product is 1000% better than it was in the 3.1 days (that was over 2 years ago). Great software, but the support from the company itself could use some improvement lately.

You'll have less security issues with Ensim than any of the other panels. But its not quite as user friendly or feature packed.
