It's almost an year since I came here last. Got terribly busy all this while. Howdy now to all the old timers and a hello to the new members.

Here's my question.

I'm running a website (a non-profit college community portal) using eZ Publish. Also I provide everyone.net email and discussion forums (including their chat) on that site. I'm also thinking about keeping the everyone.net email but installing other PHP based GPL software for forums and a free chat (any backend with a java applet front end).

Does anyone know of any scripts to integrate eZ Publish userbase with everyone.net email, and pehaps another forums and a chat system?

And does anyone know of a free java chat system with an applet front-end?

I did some search on hotscripts, freshmeat and Jars but couldn't find a good applet chat system that is free and can be integrated with an existing user database.

Any information will be highly appreciated.
