I posted my problem before.. at
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39204
And since i am not really familiar with how all the reseller accounts work, i thought i would ask one more question..
In the programs i looked at so far, you buy a big account from them, and then resell it into many pieces. Is there any reseller accounts, were u don't have to buy upfront, and would get % comission for sales instead? i know isprime.com gives 10 or 15%, any others?

As far as I could see on their site, you would be working with links,. This is working as a affiliate, not a reseller.
If you prefer this way have you cheaked out cj.com?
There you will find lots of host that are looking for affiliates , some pay a fix rate , some give %.

Considering your 30.000 free customers at a rate of 1% you'll get 300 customers x 10$/month will get you around 10 brand new serves.
Actually if you're planning to use some sort of affiliate sites DON'T. Better use a reseller sccount either the VO system (one account and discount on the others) or SH or MC with bulk accounts.
Still considering your potential customers go straight on the own server with WHM / cPanel option.
Good luck and keep us informed !;)

My mistake amelen. I didn't read your previous post. If you do have so many sign ups I
wouldn't give those accounts away either! Keep them by all means.

:D
I don't think I will get more than 50 paid hosting requets/month. And even those will be probobly for basic plans just to get rid of the ads i place..

Did you tried with a poll among your clients?
It might be useful. Ofer better services and you'll get new clients also.

I put a poll in the support forum.. but there is some major router problems this morning.. (a lot of sites are down), as well as most of the internet in the chicago area.. Once that is fixed in a few hours (hard to get anyone out there on sat. morning), the site should be back up and i can check the poll..
