I've been here for a fairly long time and I've noticed that many newbies and novices almost always ask the same questions over and over again. Ain't there any way to create a comprehensible PDF file with ALL the questions ppl ask. I mean, just like anandtech.com has its book, I wouldn't mind paying USD 1.00 for an e-book which would give me sensible and useful information (I stress on Sensible and Useful) about webhosting tips and tricks (updated each 3 months & delivered by email), instead of losing my time and energy trying to compile information from all over the forum.

Also, I've read that some of the regular visitors of WHT want to form a "club of webhosters" or s/thing with a similar name. Guess that would be a good idea if one of its priorities would be to reduce the amount of "flames" and direct attacks against their own comrades (powweb, gearhost....). Does anyone of you have an idea how to REALLY and TRULY measure up webhosters attitude and performance? Is something like a code of conduct/ethics or a federation of WHT webhosting customers a step in the right way?

forming some kind of webhosting association would be a good idea but horribly complicated if it ever happens i will certainly help

Only way to ever do anything like that would be to apply the same basic requirements that would be essential for a shopfront business, meaning they complied with laws within their country apart from conduct and advertising issues. Those related threads became so stuck on those issues alone, yet neglected the common essential issues, therefore reaching a preliminary consensus would be a milestone in itself, in this small puddle of the pond.

I'm also figuring out how WHT could make money (and prosper) while at the same time, helping newbies like you and me. How many times have U asked yourself - What is the best Forum around, which Webmail solutions exist... The fact is that these answers exist here, but unfortunately, they are found deep in the threads.

Perhaps someone should be named chief data miner with the money collected with the e-book ;)

The first 500,000 of you go ahead and send me your dollar. I should have the e-book available within a couple of months.
