I need to host a website, containing a large (100MB) .mpg file.

What could be the best (cost effective) solutionb for streaming the video file on a plesk (linux) server

Can the Real Server Basic solve my purpose?

or, could some suggest me a better option.

Consider using Darwin Streaming server, it is free. http://www.opensource.apple.com/projects/streaming/index.html

Yep, Darwin is a very good for streams (it can out perform Real).
