when you put in the shared IP you use for namebased accounts(if its also the server IP) what page shows up ?

The main accounts web site.

It's the first "name-based" site listed in httpd.conf -- it's best to have this as your own site, so that if customers plug in that IP address they don't see another customer's site and get confused!

You can edit httpd.conf (pico is a good Editor, oh and _DO_ make a backup copy first!) and just move the entry for your site to be the first name-based site in the file, then restart Apache from WHM.

To find httpd.conf, use locate httpd.conf
