Uncoded processing
What does Uncoded processing means? I don' tknow what it is :)
touol 06-03-2005, 08:28 AM It means your merchant account has 7995 code and when you charge clients cards then that code is sent along with the transaction data. The acquiring bank accepts the code and decide wether decline or approve the transaction. Most US banks will decline the transaction because the Internet gambling is illegal in US.
Some European banks will decline you too. Uncoded processing means you don't have the code and your transaction will be approved if the card is in good standing. You will have any code rather than 7995.
Some banks in Europe do that but the solution costs money (about 10k initially) and processing rates from 5.5-8.95%
Corey Bryant 06-03-2005, 08:30 AM What country is it based in? You might be looking at a set-up of about $1,500 and and the discount rate varies.
Have they registered with a gaming commission? And if so, which one?
RiskPayments 06-03-2005, 09:55 AM Mis-coding transactions can be dicey. And highly unstable. You might want to check out an alternative to credit cards, like FirePay or NetTeller, or look into getting a coded solution (A lot of issuing banks will auto-decline, but its much more legitimate and stable). Although, I am guessing at $4 mil/day they must be using these already.
bugsoft 06-03-2005, 10:32 AM Country: Canada
Gaming commission: Canada Indian Reserve / http://www.kahnawake.com/gamingcommission/ Soverign law of the indians
bugsoft 06-03-2005, 10:34 AM No problem for setup if the terms and conditions are right
bugsoft 06-03-2005, 10:38 AM It must be Uncoded, althought a mix is in place but most of transactions are Uncoded
RiskPayments 06-03-2005, 10:41 AM I can refer you to a coded solution, or give you some contact names at FirePay (they are in Montreal), if you want more info. Can't provide reliable uncoded, though. Unfortunately.
bugsoft 06-03-2005, 10:47 AM They already use NETeller, myCitadel, FirePay
We are talking about top 3 casinos in the world.
JBU2010 06-03-2005, 01:16 PM Netteller, mycitadel and firepay? That's what they use?
bugsoft 06-06-2005, 06:19 AM Netteller, mycitadel and firepay? That's what they use
As an Option. Meaning they also support it.

bugsoft 06-30-2005, 10:54 AM Well, Corey refered ECS from London but they are unable to help us. Haven't got any feedback yet. Still looking :(

You will need to seek a solution outside the USA such as Panama, Belize, Germany, Spain.
RxNetwork 09-30-2010, 01:08 PM all not-coded processing is illegal
