This update resolves a security issue with e-mail. Prior to this patch it was possible to get other users e-mail.

This update resolves a security issue with Frontpage extensions. Prior to this patch it would be possible to run CGI scripts as a user with higher privilages than the owner of a web site.

8 - Update: All Kernel i386 1.1

Solves a problem that was introduced with the kernel update included in RaQ3-Update-OS-3.0. The symptom was that the DNS server would not start if the machine was assigned more than sixty IP addresses.

This update also addresses a security vulnerability relating to the POSIX Capabilities functions in the Linux kernel


9 - Update: 128-bit SSL 1.0

Technics,

I did all of them except the 22Mb one yesterday. Seems to work good. Only prob I have is to get the CGI work (already got MySQL & PHP4 working).

CGI - Is installed already. If your scripts are not working id check ur paths and permissions.

Do I need to change anything in the httpd.conf or srm.conf?

By the way, this is the error I get:

CGIWrap Error: Execution of this script not permitted
Execution of (cgi-bin/test.cgi) is not permitted for the following reason:

Script does not have same UID

i had that error at one point dunt have a clue what it means so i just deleted all the files and re-installed worked fine after that.

the error means the person owning the scripts is not the person you have set as the site admin. ie joe ownes the site so joe is the owner of the files, you upload as admin so admin owns the files but doesnt have the correct cgwrap permissions. chown the files to joe and they will work.
