Hello,

Hm....The package "$35.00 256Mb 30GB Disk 300GB Transfer" really meet my budget! But I just got a VPS from other provider last month. May consider to change. I have some questions:

1. How long have been in hosting business?

2. Are you a VPS reseller from other provider?

3. Where is the datacenter of the server?

4. Could you provide a test file reside on your website for download?

5. You mentioned "All servers include at least 1 Fixed IP (2 on 256Mb+)". Could you get more for free?

Do you implemented the SRS (Sender Rewriting Scheme) into email forwarding services on my VPS ?

Hi
We don't implement it by default however it shouldn't be to hard to implement on a VPS however its not something that we would support by default

What is the lowest VPS you recommend to host about 20 small accounts and 1 medium with Cpanel? Whould the $15 64mb be enough?

64Mb...I would say its borderline and would suggest the 128Mb really at least to be safe. On 64Mb you might expierence slowness

Why are you offering it then if i may ask?

As some people will want servers on low memory without a control panel for things like secondary DNS, Backup mail servers.

what is guaranteed CPU for that plans?

rghf
06-02-2005, 02:51 PM
200+Mhz on the low plans however as some of the servers are AMD its hard to make a direct relationship. e.g. AMD 242 run at around 1.4Ghz each Xeon 3.06Ghz which are comrable in overall performance run fast which is due to hardware advantages of the AMD

that's not too much for 256Mb /512Mb servers.
as i understand CPU is burstable ? it will be greate to have a table with min/max CPUs for each plan.

The 200is on the 32/64Mb plans (i.e the lower plans). However it is all fully burstable and the machine are lightly loaded

vaserv,

1) Do you offer any guarantee for the uptime of the host nodes + network?

2) I just need CPanel DNS-Only therefore, I don't need to purchase a CPanel liscense from you, correct?

3) Can you help with the installation of CPanel DNS-Only, I understand that this tends to hang when installed on certain VPSs the installation tends to hang. Therefore, have you ever tested it? (I am looking into the 128MB Ram VPS).

I would prefer that you PM me the answers in case I forget to check back here ;)

Hey Rus, quick question:

Does the free transfer offer apply to people who'd like to jump ship from JVDS? :)

Thanks...

Any uptime stats for your servers?

Also, I didn't find the data about servers location (sorry if I missed it) - what are the datacenters?

Servers are hosted in Fortress ITX. Uptime is 100% so far but thats not really fair as they have only been up a few weeks
