need2backup 05-31-2005, 09:08 PM We have updated the cPanel pricing on our website to reflect the correct pricing.
server4sale 05-31-2005, 09:15 PM How come test ip and test file are in 2 different DC?
need2backup 05-31-2005, 09:28 PM We are in 2 different Datacenters (Hivelocity and Sagonet).
We have rack space in Hivelocity's DC and also have a suite in the Sagonet DC.
All dedicated servers that are ordered will be in the Sagonet datacenter because we are out of rackspace in the Hivelocity datacenter.
Roy@ENHOST 06-01-2005, 02:38 AM So we will be billed quarterly?
Canglan 06-01-2005, 02:46 AM Hello, how much for OS reloads?
Thanks.
server4sale 06-01-2005, 03:54 AM Excellent pricing if its in Sago :)
wheimeng 06-01-2005, 06:56 AM So the 10Mbit unmetered is in Sago facility?
do each payment we have to pay 3 months at a time? or 3 months initial payment then billed each month?
need2backup 06-01-2005, 08:44 AM Hello, how much for OS reloads?
Initial OS loads are FREE with your server. Re-installs of your OS will be billed at $40 per install.
So the 10Mbit unmetered is in Sago facility?
All Unmetered Servers are at the Sago Facility. Actually all our dedicated server plans will be installed at the Sagonet DC
So we will be billed quarterly?
You are only billed quarterly for the first three months.
To get your unmetered BW server online you will need to pay the first three months in advance. After your first three months of billing you will be billed monthly if you choose.
For example to get your server online:
(Pricing for a standard CentOS server with no upgrades)
Months 1-3 = $79.99 x 3 + 99.99 setup fee = $339.96
Months 4 - x = $79.99 / month
wheimeng 06-01-2005, 06:28 PM Any 50mbit unmetered?
need2backup 06-01-2005, 07:02 PM Yes, we have 50Mbps available also. Please see the BW Upgrades:
..::: Bandwidth Upgrade Options :::..
20Mbps Unmetered Upgrade - Add $109/month
50Mbps Unmetered Upgrade - Add $399/month
100Mbps Unmetered Upgrade - Add $899/month
Roy@ENHOST 06-01-2005, 07:26 PM That is way too cheap!

need2backup 06-01-2005, 07:39 PM Let me clarify my last post since I have already had 2 questions on it.
The BW upgrade pricing is on top of the $79.99/month.
I have included the total pricing below:
10Mbps Unmetered Server = $79.99/month
20Mbps Unmetered Server = $188.99/month
50Mbps Unmetered Server = $478.99/month
100Mbps Unmetered Server = $978.99/month
Hope this clears up my last post.
wheimeng 06-02-2005, 06:41 PM Are you reseller of Sago?
need2backup 06-02-2005, 07:57 PM We are NOT a reseller of Sagonet or Hivelocity.
server4sale 06-03-2005, 12:30 AM I believe they have there OWN racks and MAVweb COLO to Sago Facility.
Tim Harvey 06-03-2005, 12:21 PM Do you use Cogent or are you using Sago's bandwidth?
need2backup 06-03-2005, 12:31 PM We have Cogent and Level3 BW.
Cognet is used for the unmetered special in this post.
We use the LEVEL3 for our self-managed dedicated servers.
jeff123 06-04-2005, 06:46 PM 1GB RAM Upgrade - One Time Fee $125
Does this mean that the final server RAM would be 2GB since it already begins with 1GB ?
need2backup 06-04-2005, 07:59 PM Jeff123:
Sorry if their was confusion..the offer is for 1GB of RAM in the server. You can upgrade of course.
This is the standard server for the offer:
Intel Celeron 2.8GHz
1GB RAM
80GB SATA Hard Drive
10Mbps UNMETERED BANDWIDTH
5 IPs
CentOS 3.x or FreeBSD
10Mbps Unmetered - $79.99 / month (3 months advance)
Setup Fee - $99.99
jeff123 06-04-2005, 08:48 PM I meant, that if I went with the 1GB RAM Upgrade and paid the one time fee of $125, then would I end up with 2GB RAM? From your last post it looks like it would indeed be 2GB.
What if I paid $1000 for the 4GB RAM Upgrade along with the $99 setup fee? How much RAM would I have eventually?
Do you also have upgrade path to dual Xeons? Your offer is very attractive.
need2backup 06-04-2005, 09:10 PM Jeff plz contact me at the email address in our signature and I will get you a custom quote for the RAM upgrade and Dual Xeon.
Todd
HD Fanatic 06-04-2005, 11:20 PM Wait, you said that all unmetered servers is at the Sago facility. Sago doesn't have Cogent, how could you offer unmetered there?
funnyusa 06-05-2005, 01:33 PM any windows option ?

why did you say it is in sago facility?

RobertMaltby 06-06-2005, 10:58 AM I just recently toured the Sagonet DC and I am currently setting up a Rack there... They never not once mentioned Cogent.. they have about 7gbps of level 3 bandwidth... which makes up about 95% of there total bandwidth...
Something just doesnt seem right... BUT, he did say he has a suite there.. meaning Sago could have brought in cogent special for him..
One thing is for sure.. Sago has a nice DC.. :)
HD Fanatic 06-06-2005, 05:56 PM Did you take any pictures of the Sago DC ? PM me if you have :)
RobertMaltby 06-06-2005, 05:58 PM I tried.. =\ They wouldnt let me.. However, Adam / Jason are going to mail me a CD full of pics of the DC.. I fly back home tomorrow :P and I can tell you then..
Jason gave me about ten or so pics.. I can pm you a link when i get back home :)
need2backup 06-06-2005, 09:25 PM To clear things up....
We have space in Sagonet's DC and Hivelocity's DC.
We have LEVEL3 BW from Sago.
We have a pipe of COGENT BW coming from our space at the Hivelocity Datacenter.
All Unmetered Dedicated servers will be stored in Sagonet's DC on Hivelocity BW.
Anyone who wants a tour of our space can contact Todd... todd at mavweb.net
need2backup 06-06-2005, 09:28 PM funnyusa:
You can add windows to these servers for the pricing below:
Windows 2003 Web Edition – Add $20/month
Windows 2003 Standard Edition – Add $40/month
RobertMaltby 06-06-2005, 09:31 PM I never knew Sago had HIVelocity BW... ?!? I would rather get things clearified a bit more.. get some facts straitened out.. before getting a server from mavwebnet.. Great prices.. but somethings just dont add up for me..
Why are you charging 49.00 for Cpanel?? when you can get it direct from Sago for more then half that + fantastico for a few bucks extra?
need2backup 06-06-2005, 10:04 PM platinumn23:
Please contact me via email and I will clear up any questions you have.

RobertMaltby 06-06-2005, 10:07 PM I prefer my questions to be answered here if you dont mind... it would not only clear up my answers but others as well..
need2backup 06-06-2005, 10:31 PM platinumn23:
Post your questions that I haven't answered already and I will answer them for you and others.
Mavweb charges $49 for a cPanel license, we also can offer a Sago cPanel for $20 and with fantastico for $21.50. We have the ability to resell their cPanel license because our servers are in their DC.
Maybe I can give you a tour of our space at Sago before you fly back?
HD Fanatic 06-16-2005, 04:23 AM I never knew Sago has Hivelocity bandwidth o.o
need2backup 06-16-2005, 07:46 AM Sago doesn't offer/have Hivelocity BW. Only we do in our space at the Sagonet DC.
RobertMaltby 06-17-2005, 04:58 PM Yes, I verified with my Reps at Sagonet.. Mavwebnet Does have a Pipe of Cogent Comming from HiVelocity DC..
I was a bit concerned when he mentioned cogent at Sagonet.. But its only a pipe to there suite at Sagonet.. nothing more.
