The 4ws forums and chat are down now for several weeks, does anybody know why?
I recently have signed up with them, they really had good reputations in this forums, especially concerning their good support.
I have experienced that their support doesn't goes beyond basic questions about the Raq CP. Which is ok for the price, but neverless I was irritated because I had awaited more after reading the posts here.
Maybe their have cut down support for 4ws customers and now they only offering premium support for TerraByte customers?

Just send your support email to noc@tera-byte.com and they will get back with you soon. Or they also have a 800 toll free number for US and Canada.

The level of support at 4ws is very much like the weather here in the Netherlands, sometime its great, but mostly just irritates.

I'd really disagree. While the support has not always been perfect, it has been at least good for me every time I've sent in a support request. Most of the time, the support has been very good to excellent.
On the other hand, I've always treated the support techs the way I'd like to be treated. They are there to help me as a business partner, not as a servant. What goes around, comes around.
(I've had a RaQ3 with them for a year.)
I never knew 4ws had forums
where are they located?

I think if you are haveing trouble with support at 4webspace you need to contact Steve Kaiser ! Hes always been a fair and knowledgeable gentleman with every dealing I have had with him.
If your wanting someone to run your raq for you , your correct their support will inform you they do not support that however they will always answer a support ticket and have a toll free number to call. Im thinking im a customer as all of their customers and everybody is given the same support I am. Really if your here to flame them with no specifics is really poor business. And no I dont use 4 webspace exclusively. We also use Rackshack and likewise their support may take a little longer than anybody wants when your haveing major convulsions but they do answer their support mail everytime and will find a solution to your problem if its their support that is required.

I'm always extremely polite to them, maybe my english causes some misunderstandings but still.
Maybe my previous post is a bit to harsh, i ALWAYS get an answer, but unfortunatly it isn't always an answer to my question and most of the time the answers are extremely short and not always very helpfull.
The chat room however is a complete farce, more then a reboot you wont get there. Any question you ask there will be answerd with "write support". I once was in there for over a hour an a half just to find out that they forgotten about me hanging in there patiently, instead of helping me after that they told me to write support  (it was 2:30AM here and i had a problem wih my server!).
I do think that $99 gives you value for money, just don't expect TO much from their support.

IMHO they took the forum down because it was hardly used, infact it was dead.
Support-Chat is not bad, it's a good thing to be able to talk interactivly to a human instead of just receiving a tickednumber. and it's a much better way than making an expensive phone call from europe to canada.
Support-Mail works well 90%, usually they're fast and get things sorted.

Yes it would be great, did you get a lot of answers there ?

Is really depending on who's online and what your problem is. I know these "mail support" aswell as things getting fixed immediatly.
They're just driving me mad when they do things without priour notice, ie. rebooting my servers without any (known) reason and when questioned they say "we don't log server reboots"....
