JHServers 05-30-2005, 11:29 PM This is the FDCServers datacenter correct?
This means we could burn 100Mbit constantly?
Sure? I think if we would host 5 of our customers who burn 50Mbit/sec average, we would be kicked in 3 hours.
Could you confirm it please?
Thank you.

Thank you. if you exceed 5500GB of monthly bandwidth on the 100Mbit port you would be capped to 10Mbit connection.
However contact us directly for dedicated bandwidth pricing on any of our servers

If it's 100Mbit and it's unmetered, why would you cap it to 10Mbit?
Your offer is not very clear.
I knew at first if we would burn all this bandwidth we would be capped or kicked; that's why we asked it.
Your offer is then:
5500Gb transfer monthly
100Mbit port
If customer goes over 5500Gb transfer monthly then offer is:
Unmetered 10Mbit
rhsadmin 05-31-2005, 05:47 PM Over 24 hours of sustained speeds at one time it would be capped to the 10Mbit. You should be fine no one has even gotten close

the other question I have the firewalled ports, I have a couple web base programs that use unusual ports will this be a problem?? One off the top my head would be teamspeak.

Yeah, I agree--bad advertising.
rhsadmin 06-01-2005, 01:58 PM There has to be limits set somewhere so it does not abuse the line so that other customers won't be affected.
We are trying to make it as affordable as possible for these prices.
We would be more than happy to give anyone a price on the dedicated 100Mbit port connection

aniport 06-03-2005, 02:43 PM are you using fdcservers hardware or your own? if its ur own rack cant we just use 100mbit 24/7? how come u cant give us an ip to ping on your own rack but instead only the fdcservers main T_T
rhsadmin 06-03-2005, 05:59 PM IP addresses and the bandwidth/Server equipment for the racks we purchase are provided by the datacenter.
Limitations have to be set somewhere for the extreme low-price that we provide the bandwidth and server for so that other customers can use some bandwidth as well.
It's unmetered bandwidth meaning no extra charges or hidden fees apply.

Would it be alright if you only peaked at say 50-60mbps for a couple of hours a day?
rhsadmin 06-03-2005, 07:23 PM fine to do high speeds
