I know this might be kind of a funny question, given that the same company owns WHT as owns HotScripts, but I thought I'd pose it anyway.

Have any coders out there had luck with HotScripts premium or sponsored listings? I just submitted my band website CMS (Audition) to it, and have had a bunch of its (no bites yet, but it's a commercial app)

So my question is this - is it worth it to go premium? (I can't afford sponsored yet, although being able to force my app into a top slot on every search would be awfully nice.)

(I would post a link, but I am a n00b, and can't do it yet. Somewhere further down the thread, if this picks up, I'll probably have the five posts necessary to post a link, if anyone's interested.)

Which is against the forums rules the last time I checked...

Premium/sponsored listings do look nice, I've looked at them myself for a couple of scripts, but I'm not sure if the benefits justify the cost. We seem to do fine with just a normal listing, and our script is also commercial. We might do better with a premium/sponsored, but would the increase in sales be worth the cost? Probably not.

its not worth it at all... If your scripts are worth it and are free, you will get visitors no matter what...

One of my sites (www.helpphp.net), gets around 35% of my visitors (estimated 20 visitors a day) from hotscript, no premium listings and been unupdated for the last year...

If you are looking for much more visitors, then I would say you should go to preium listings (it will sure get you more visitors)..

Peace,
