Why? mdadnan 05-31-2005, 02:54 AM Depends on the domain, lets say there is a one by name 'SmartKid.com' then you can have a website related to kids games, talk forum, fun games, related activities, quizzes etc like a portal. Reversing it you get KidSmart.com which is more like a brandable name and more probably can be used for kidsclothing and other products related to kids. Somtimes it completely changes the meaning e.g. GirlsShow.com sounds like a TV show but reversing it you get ShowGirls.com; so always depends on the domain. In your case talkwebhosting.com you can easily use for a website similar to webhostingtalk.com. Bashar 06-01-2005, 12:38 PM if you own webhostingtalk.com its not bad to have talkwebhosting.com but why getting it while you dont own the first version? bug the first version owners? :P Johnburk 06-01-2005, 01:02 PM haha, no.... 4solutions 06-01-2005, 01:23 PM Well, it's worked out pretty well for NameCheap.com which to me is the reverse of the proper English use of the adjective before the noun: CheapName.com |
