Heh? Are you sure that you use abovenet? traceroutes give me level3 and the IP goes to YIPESCOM (fixedorbit.com)

What means your scripts and your domains?

Until then, you'll be seeing Level(3) at the traceroutes.

What means your scripts and your domains?SharkTECH has developed a list of shell scripts making server's owner/administrator duty easier. They are quite helpful for servers that will have IRC usage. For example, easily suspending/unsuspending accounts, checking for overused psyBNCs nicknames, setup proper permissions to homedirs, create private vhosts, generate vhosts list, interactive eggdrop/psyBNC/BNC installation and many more.

We also offer access to our clients to a domain list that we're managing, in order for shell companies that don't have their owns domains yet, to create virtual hostnames.

You are reseller of fdc server? This is the most frequently asked question, so that's why it's already included in our FAQ Page (http://www.sharktech.net/?ID=faq):

Whats with FDCservers and SharkTECH, is SharkTECH a reseller?
No, SharkTECH is not an FDCservers reseller. This question is circuling around the net for a while now. SharkTECH network is located in FDCservers DataCenter, we receive our dedicated pipeline through FDC core-router (network topology http://www.sharktech.net/topology.gif ). Our network is heavily fortified with state of the art firewalling that even FDC recommend us to their DoS'd customers.

D3mon, I'm a client of sharktech for few months now, and they are not resellers for FDC.

I would just like to share my experience with you.

The sharktech staff is real nice, and their ddos filtering is even better.

I've had no issues with them, I would recommend all the users having DDOS issues to give sharktech a try.

Regards

I presence your protection when receive any attack you null IP, very good this protection, but you will be down anyway. if dont is because DDoS/DoS is because sharktech nullroute.

I dont recomend this DoS/DDoS protection for your business.

leblocks,

SharkTECH IS the pioneer of non-nullrouting firewalled protection. We are the one's that went that path since day one of our business. While others provided nullrouting services we ALWAYS stood against the other's procedures and methods as we beleived since day one nullrouting is NOT mitigating DDoS but simply giving up to the DDoS'ers wishes.

We barely (almost never) apply nullroutes for incoming DDoS attacks as we have developed our own detection and filtering system which uses several different methods on filtering traffic and letting only legit traffic to pass to the attacked server.

However, there are times that we have applied nullroutes due to real complicated or extremely high amount of attacks so our filtering system may decide to nullroute the IP, instead of wasting time and risking our network's or customer's server stability but this is something that honestly barely happens. Our filtering system has more than 15 different choices of blocking attack traffic and nullrouting is the last choice of all.

At last, manual nullroutes may be done due to continuous abuses as we have zero tolerance policy against abusive activities from our servers (ie outgoing DoS attacks, drone botnets, continuous spamming, e-mail/web phishing). I believe that you'll agree that every serious company who does not support abuses, will take strict measures against them after further investigation, even if that means a temporary IP nullroute.
