View Full Version : Miserable NSI stops allowing domain WHOIS updates

For the entire week I've been unable to update my domains' WHOIS. I couldn't change to my new host even I've started paying them. I email them couple times a day but everytime I only got their autoreply but never the ACK mail.

The last few days I was like spamming them with the domain template. Again, they spammed back to me tones of autoreply. Not a single ACK... darn...

Anyone having the same problem?

Hmm...been there, done that. Took me 3 months to change an address with NSI.

I moved all my domains over to 000domains.com and life has been alot easier ever since.

You do know that you have to respond to that auto reply and acknowledge the change request in order for it to be processed? Once that happens, you get an acknowledgmenent (usually) that it is being processed.

By now, you know that you should move to a better registrar. I too use 000domains and have gotten a response in under 30 minutes both times I had questions over transferring domains. Any changes are accomplished a whole lot easier (and by you) than NSI.

The solution to Network Solutions is to move to 000domains (or others using the Open SRS system).
