I just thought I might ask why others are attending and what they are looking forward to.

So far it seems that most people I talk to are interested in the exhibits more than the speeches or lectures. Is that also true for you?

Also what is your opinion of the breakfast/lunch menu? Are you planning to go elsewhere for lunch or breakfast?

I am attending HostingCon for both the exhibits and lectures. Its a great way to compare what the current hosting industry has to offer. I also expect to do a bit of networking and face to face discussions on issues I would like to discuss with some of the exhibitors. Since HostingCon its open to consumers as well as the hosting community, it should be interesting to see what is popular
and what is not.

Everything sounds good except for the Lasana on Tuesday - I hope a sandwich alternative is offered. I was at a conference 2 weeks ago on SQL Server 2005 by Microsoft at the same location. The breakfast food was similar and was great. Lunch sandwichs were ok. The price is right for both!

If you do this for lunch, you will never get back in 1 hour and may have to pay for parking if the lots are full! For breakfast very little to pick from in a 1 mile radius. You will be stuck in early morning traffic for sure. For lunch you could spend at least 3 $$$ for eating in the hotel restaurants.

I am looking forward to the exhibits and meeting the companies that I give my money to every month. If I wanted lectures, I could stay home....I am married:nervous:
